Aware of the importance of maintaining a sustainable tourism development, and assuming the principles specifically adopted in Sectorial Technical Standard NTS-TS 003, CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA PROMOTORA SAS. (Hereinafter CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA) undertakes to carry out a sustainable management of its activities, by adopting commitments aimed at preventing, eliminating the impact of our facilities and activities on the destinations that we offer in our portfolio of services, as well as Optimize the sustainability of CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA, improving its behavior with the environment.

In this sense, CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA have adopted the following sustainable tourism policy, in which they commit to comply with the requirements established in Sectorial Technical Standard NTS-TS 003, which includes, among others, the legal requirements that regulate Effects Generated by the tourist activity. Likewise, we commit ourselves to motivate and train our staff with training and awareness actions on the principles of sustainable tourism, to promote good environmental practices in the environment, participation in external activities, and internal and external data on Advances and environmental actions of the company.

One of our main objectives is to improve sustainable management, assuming the commitments of continuous improvement in all areas of sustainability: socio-cultural, economic and environmental, as well as customer satisfaction. To this end, they will submit to the projects of extensions of the facilities of the activities to criteria of sustainability and efficiency in the use of resources.

Currently CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA is running programs for the care and good use of water and energy, proper management of waste or garbage, inclusion of local staff in each destination stimulating the growth of regions and providing our programs in the most experiential component. In addition, campaigns for the care of natural and cultural heritage by our employees, contractors, suppliers and clients with periodic evaluations to verify their effectiveness.

Among the activities that CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA develops, the following can be counted:

• Collection at least 100kg of plastic annually and subsequent donation to the foundations responsible for transforming this material into bricks or plastic wood which is used in the construction of playgrounds, homes, among others. Giving this material a second use and preventing them from reaching the landfills.
• Raise awareness at least 2000 tourists every year about the importance of recycling and good waste separation, teaching other alternatives for the disposal of plastics and prevent them from going to landfills, in the same way in the care of water sources, fauna, flora and cultural heritage of our country.
• Reduce to 0% the usage of plastic bottles in water drinks, soda, etc. by 2021 replacing them with glass bottles or bottle canteen in traveler kits for all our customers.
• Have 100% of our vehicles with alternative containers to collect all plastics by the year 2021, in order to take to recycling collection centers for the transformation of these into plastic wood.
• Encourage in hotels the use of larger and more than 1 use amenities, with the replacement of soaps and shampoos with dispensers of these elements

This sustainable tourism policy is updated whenever circumstances require, adopting and publishing in both cases new sustainability objectives.
