Protection of children and adolescents policy

The protection of our children and adolescents against child sexual exploitation is everyone's duty.

In compliance with the provisions of Article 1 of Law 1336 of 2009, CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA PROMOTORA SAS. (hereinafter CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA)establishes the following Code of Conduct aimed at the protection of children and adolescents against pornography, abuse, and sexual exploitation.

The commitments enshrined in this Code of Conduct are adopted as a comprehensive policy in the promotion, sale, and operation of all our activities and must likewise be adopted by the entire group of stakeholders: employees, contractors, suppliers, clients, among others in their daily activities.

To this end, CAMINOS DE COLOMBIA and its group of stakeholders undertakes to:

  1. Refrain from offering, expressly or surreptitiously, plans for the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism promotion programs and tourist plans.
  2. Refrain from giving information to tourists, directly or through an intermediary, about places from which they coordinate or where they practice commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  3. Refrain from driving tourists, directly or through third parties, to establishments or places where commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is practiced, as well as driving them to places where tourists are staying, even if they are places located on the high seas, for commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  4. Refrain from providing vehicles on tourist routes for exploitation or sexual abuse of children and adolescents.
  5. Prevent the entry of children and adolescents into hotels or places of lodging, bars, similar businesses, and other establishments in which they provide tourist services for sexual exploitation or abuse.
  6. Adopt measures to prevent personnel linked in any capacity to the company from offering tourist services that allow sexual activity with children and adolescents.
  7. Protect national or foreign children and adolescents from all forms of exploitation and sexual violence caused by national or foreign tourists.
  8. Report to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and other competent authorities the facts of which you have become aware by any means, as well as the suspicion thereof, related to the sexual exploitation of boys, girls, and adolescents, and ensure that within the company have channels to report such events to the competent authorities.
